Went in to get a couple of keys made which seemed simple enough. After 3+ hours of waiting and taking time off work I thought it was over. BUT when i went to use my master key, it didn't open the doors or trunk. I brought my car in again to have the key looked at. Someone tried to rekey it and made it unusable. So i brought it in again but they couldn't do anything because their computer was down. They said they would call me back and haven't heard anything for weeks. I finally got it worked out later on and they made 2 copies free of charge. Still took me 4 tries.
I had a very favorable experience at Durango Motor Company Service Department today. A young man named Tim Murphy went out of his way to service my car and found that I had a problem with one of my tires. Instead of making me take it back to the place where I had purchased the tires, he arranged to have it fixed there. He really provided service above and beyond!
Once again the team at DMC proved they're the best! Thank you guys for taking care of me and my Kia. My baby got some new shoes!!! (tires I mean :)
For those of you who are thinking about buying a car from Durango Motor Company, I highly advise you not to. I have never experienced such poor customer service in my life, from them and their partners Durango Value Auto. I bought my first car from them in August thinking it was in tip top shape. I come home, I have an issue with my reverse light and now I have one with water leaking into my vehicle. They wanted to charge me $2,000.00 to fix the issue, said it would take around 8 hours, when in reality they should've taken care of it prior to selling me the vehicle. I got the reverse light fixed and at that point I was okay, saying it was an honest mistake. But this is over the top, as it is causing interior damage to my vehicle. I called the dealership for Volkswagen in Grand Junction and they said they would charge me around $434.66 for the labor, parts, and tax all done in 3-4 hours. Talk about being ripped off by Durango Motor Company. Very disappointed. I called to speak to a manager and they said they would call me back and they didn't.
I've had nothing but great experiences with Durango Motor Company! After buying my truck in April there was a problem with the battery. When I called in about the warranty of the battery, Chuck was more than happy to take a look. He even met me on his day off! Chuck replaced my battery and sent me on my way leaving me with peace of mind and full confidence in the service. Thanks again Durango Motor Company!
