I was disappointed in the barbecue sauce. seemed to have like a vingar base, not what I was expecting. my order of beef came in a small cup in chuncks. I under stand now there is a big difference in New Orleans style then southern barbeque. Service was poor at best. Wouldn't suggest going back. Art work and cleanliness was great.
Really enjoyed this place. Food and atmosphere was great. Being a Saints fan and from New Orleans helped.
Very fresh food with great flavor. Staff is very nice.
The best BBQ in Durango, I think.... Authentic New Orleans style, with a family from the area running it. A neat little out of the way location Downtown. Don't forget to try the baked beans. Being a KC native I know good BBQ if I know nothing else... This is the most "authentic" BBQ place in town.
The Sunday lunch atmosphere was slow. Zydeco music with a lot of New Orleans decorations. It is an old house so there are lots of walls. It was freezing cold inside. The food was good enough that I'll try it again.
