I am a Mexican and know great Mexican food thanks to my mother. I went to Machos for breakfast on Florifa Road and had a combo plate on Chorizo with eggs, rice and beans and I was greatly surprised by the quality of the food. It was delicious and loved the place. I can hardly wait to go for dinner but I am confident I will be just as pleased.
We stopped by the "south" location for lunch. Unfriendly/No service/Food sucked/Over priced/small portions. We won't be eating there again.
Good homemade flour tortillas. Maybe I needed to temper my expectations? Seemed like a fun, neighborhood watering hole.
I'm probably one of the few that think the food is too expensive for what you get. Last week my sister and I ordered the chips and guacamole and some tacos. The chips were good, but the guacamole looked like it came out of a pump. It was pure liquid. The tacos came out and they're made with a crunchy taco shell, which is fine, but the meat was only ground beef. No flavor whatsoever. Glad I tried it, so I know never to go back.
