The location is great. There's an amazing view from the room. We were there at a tough time. It was warm enough during the day to need an AC , but cool enough at night to need a heater. The heat hadn't been turned on yet, so we got pretty chilly at night. Also, the coffee machine was missing parts so I couldn't make my coffee in the morning.
Just don`t stay here.
The beds are BAD TOO and sag and feel like the cheapest thing they could buy, and probable are.
No complaints! It was nice, quiet and there's a convenience store located right across... Conveniently lol. The sofa is also a pull out couch into another bed. If need be.
First, the one star rating is not justified but forced by the corrupt system of google. The motel is not worth staying at and should be avoided at all cost. The motel does NOT have air conditioning, period. The office will tell you a story, a lie and not the common sense truth. Every room comes with a 18" FLOOR FAN TO COOL THE ROOM!! The motel personal will advise you , if you inquire about the unbearable HOT room, that you should " OPEN THE WINDOWS, AND DOORS TO COOL OFF"
Free hot breakfast: ham, eggs & waffles! Room was very nice and even has a USB charging port. They have cute rubber duckies with the toiletries. I also like the southwest adobe style construction. Relatively short walk to town, and you can take the river trail past the Library Rock Garden. When my husband and I walked that way, we saw a Bald Eagle soaring overhead, and we stopped at the public hatchery and fed the fish.
We stayed here with our dogs. Room was great and staff were super friendly. Only downside was being near the road and hearing some traffic, but not bad enough to interrupt sleeping. Very happy with the price and service. Would stay here again for sure. Hard to find a decent place for a decent price when traveling with dogs.
