It's a good resort but it can get crowded due to its small size.

Stayed at the lodge. Awesome location. The fall colors were perfect.
Paid $375 for a "romantic" room as was described as the lady who booked it. Only to get to the resort and walk into a room with a shower from motel 6 and a pull out bed. For $375. Nothing romantic at all. So went to the front desk and got GREAT customer service from the staff and was placed in another room for a better price. Only to have the smoke detector beeping all night, a jacuzzi tub that did not work, clock was set at wrong time, and the lamp didn't work. Not too much of a big deal if I wasn't spending almost $300 for a night to have half the stuff not work. Then breakfast was a buffet that was cold. I'm a local and only wanted to show my wife a romantic night at the mountain, just for her to be disappointed and wanting to return to our home. Wounder not recommend staying at all if your a local. Let all the Texas people pay those ridiculous prices for cheap rooms and food. Go to Pagosa of your lpoking for something like this, they haven't let me down.
