My husband and I are visiting Durango from Tennessee and have some experience rafting and we had an AMAZING experience with Durango rivertrippers! Our guide has been taking rafts down the river for YEARS and we not only had an amazing time on the water but also got a tour and history of the community. I would definitely recommend booking a trip through them. Everyone was very kind, accommodating, informative and willing to answer any questions about the surrounding area. It was an incredible start to our vacation!
Nice people, little bit expensive i found for 2hours rafting. The river was too quiet for me but thats personal. The guide we had (joe, a girl) was very kind, positive energy and very pleasant. They make some pictures of your group during the trip but its 35$ if you want to have them well. I think that is too expensive for 15 pictures
Great place and great employees. I rented a Jeep from them for some mountain 4x4 touring but had a major mechanical failure that was neither my fault or theirs after just a couple hours of trail riding. My family was bummed but the treatment we received and offers to compensate showed me they genuinely care about their clients. I hope to make it up there again some time and they will be the first place I call.
TOO EXPENSIVE! paid $385 for me, wife and 2 kids for a 4x4 jeep ride which was mainly along roads and then up a mountain which we never reached top of. Guide was nice kid and knowledgeable but spent way too much time stopping and taliking about plants and wildflowers, then told us we didn't have enough time to reach summit! NOT HAPPY with this trip and wish I could get my money back! NOT WORTH THE TIME OR MONEY!!!!!!!!
My 5-year old son REALLY wanted to go rafting, so we went on the 2-hour raft. We had a really great experience. Every single employee we encountered from the folks at the ticket kiosk, to the bus driver, to the guides was extremely friendly, helpful, pleasant, and professional. Everyone took great care of us the whole time. I was especially impressed by the guides. They were highly knowledgeable, professional, and capable, especially Jo and Jenna. I felt like we were in good hands, and I really enjoyed myself. I would definitely recommend rafting with rivertrippers!
