I would NOT recommend purchasing insurance of any kind with the Durango Office of Colorado Farm Bureau. The new Owner/Agent Mark Craig has successfully destroyed the quality reputation that Steve Martinez (former owner agent) developed for many years. Mr. Craig has lost almost all key personnel, hired unqualified and impersonal individuals that are totally incompetent to successfully run an insurance agency and manage individual issues for their policy holders. Additionally, Farm Bureau has a policy of relying on Lexus Nexus for "Credit Scoring" which is used to inflate unjustly the premiums of it's policy holders. This is nothing more than Legalized Theft. I would definitely shop around for all insurance needs and will NEVER use Farm Bureau again.
