Thanks to Marty, the best camping salesperson ever! He walked Hamilton Jr., (our 5-year-old), though how to put her new sleeping bag in a stuff sack so she could carry it while backpacking, as Hamilton explained to him that she was a a princess, ("well, kind of sort of"). Marty shipped the sleeping bag and stuff sack home to San Francisco for us. Today, when the sleeping bag arrived, (a week later), Hamilton still remembers exactly how to use the stuff sack! Annnndddd Marty remembered that she's a princess, (kind of sort of)! Thanks Marty!
Great for buying outdoors clothes, nice downtown location, a little bit countryish for my liking.
So, it's six months later, and Marty is still helping us with our camping gifts! He remembered what backpack Hamilton was looking at in June! If you're anywhere in the area, this place is well worth the trip, and what an awesome town to be in around Christmas time!
They have a knowledgable and friendly staff. The owner Jeremy was great helping us with ski boots.
