In the past I've had better experiences with the newer folks and the manager. But this time, my visit was not so stellar. The younger gal with long hair asked me my weight aloud and I told her softly because I was embarrassed that I had gained weight and there were people next to me. She then loudly repeated it to the world so all could hear in efforts to ask if she hear me correctly. Isn't there a more tactful way to do that??? And every time I didn't understand her quickly stated, droned-voiced question, she rudely repeated it just as fast as if somehow that would be helpful. I know she has to ask the same questions all day, but can't she speak to customers with some kindness and not show frustration when she has to repeat it again? And perhaps, do it in a way that folks can understand her. That's just plain good 'ol customer service, which she was greatly lacking! Then, the older gentleman who took my photo has the personality of a wet towel and was equally rude. I was trying to smile without squinting as I am light sensitive when the flash was going off and kept blinking (always happens with a flash for me and I explained this to him beforehand) and because he had to keep taking my photo, he began to mimic me by squinting and scrunching his face in a rude way to show me what I looked like and how I was doing it wrong. This is a guy that clearly does not enjoy his job and needs to be out of the customer service arena. What a crappy and humiliating experience I had with these ill-mannered folks!
Wouldnt give me my ID although i brought all the papers in they asked for. They suck.
This DMV NEVER ANSWERS THE PHONE!!! Screw this place
This DMV offered the best publicly operated DMV experience I have ever had in my 21 short years with a licence. The staff was professional, prompt and helpful. When it came time to pay the strip on my debit card wasn't working with their machine and they held my papers for me and got me right back into the rotation upon my return from the cash machine, no extra waiting. Other states could learn a thing or two from this facility.
Proceed with caution. These people enjoy calling the cops on customers. We all know the DPD will antagonize you till they have a reason to arrest you.
