The frknt desk staff and the doctor were very lovely. Ended up not needing service but still they helped me in a timely manner to the best of their ability.
Short wait, friendly staff, Dr. Pitts is great. He figured out my problem within 5 minutes and knew exactly what i needed. Got my scrip and was on my way. Thanks!
Front desk people were nice, but the doctor had no bedside manner. Felt like he was rushing through the whole thing. I don't need someone to hold my hand, but showing a little sympathy would have been appreciated.
BILLING: Incorrectly charged a co-pay even though I explained this was inaccurate. Insurance info in the Animas Urgent Care system was over 9 months old - very out of date. Needed help so I paid. Insurance processed, shows no patient responsibility of course, now told 4 weeks+ to be reimbursed even though their error. Also note that all comment responses from Animas Urgent Care are the same - just cut and paste - regardless of the comment. Recommend the Mercy healthcare system over the Animas system - at least Mercy keeps insurance info updated.
I've been here three times for emergency type service. The first time I had some sort of infection in my eye. The doctor said it was pinkeye. I went somewhere else and they discovered there was an eyelash stuck in the white of my eye. Strike one. I had to go back again for a lump on my back. The PA said it was an abcess and drained it. The problem with that was that he was WAY too excited about the pus coming out. I kid you not, he seemed to be getting off on it. Strike two. He later called me, and it seemed he wanted to ask me out. Strike three.
