Great cozy little place to grab a cuppa and even a pint if you like. Hidden away to keep tourists out which is also nice. Real mugs for your brew and not all paper cups is also nice and spoons instead of plastic stirring sticks for the environmentally conscious. Quiet and perfect to plug in and write while you wake up.

A good local coffee house on Main Street. If you're downtown and need a place to sit for a drink, this is a good choice. It's hard to park and navigate downtown during peak summer hours, however.
This is one of my favorite coffee shops ever. The bartender is very friendly, especially about fixing your coffee from the full bar at 7:10 AM. It's in a basement and it's charming as hell. The internet is really fast and the coffee is very good. It's a friendly place to hang out or work and I went every day I was in Durango.
This is the new location for "The Bean", better than ever, downstairs from the Irish Embassy Pub, and connected with it business wise. Now with a full bar. A new darker environment set underground in the historic under-lair of Main Street Durango, Colorado. Cool both metaphoricaly speaking, and literally, as in away from the summer heat in this subterranean dwelling. A must visit location. Frequent live shows, keeping the hours later for those. Best coffee, and shop in Durango, and the owner is the same as the Pub upstairs. Custom Steaming Bean coffee from the Bean in Telluride, roasted there! Buy by the bag, or the cup.
