I've been working with this company for almost 6 months.
I have been renting from this company for 3 months now and have had nothing but a negative experience. We have been lied to repeatedly since moving in our place about multiple things. We are supposed to have free wifi included in the lease, there is none nor have they done anything to fix it and they do not respond to emails. We were told we could use a storage shed here and now have had a sheriff show up to have us remove our stuff. We get complaints about dog poop and charged a clean up amount for it when the neighbors across the way have 4 dogs that run around our yard. We have a table in our kitchen they said they would remove before we moved in and now are saying it is a fixture of our apartment since it was there when we moved in. They refuse to move the table out. I feel they are a terrible company to rent from!
Really? The worse is that I have that in recorder.
Also, very rude. They didn't like the fact that I was unsitiafied and said that I could leave the unit. I would if I didn't have kids and if was easy to find a place in Durango for rent.
After a terrible experience with my previous "property managers," it was extremely pleasant working with Dawn and her team. They seemed legitimately concerned with helping us find a place to live, not just getting our money. It has been nothing but a positive experience, and I would highly recommend renting from Durango Property Management.
When I first moved to the house, dirty from top to bottom. I have pictures of garage filthy, dust everywhere, greasy stove, microwave, Windows... Everything. They said they could send someone to fix the "issue" after I have moved. Really? I would have to wait for them to clean after I had my belongs in the house? Gross!
The answer: "nothing we can do. The house was built this way. But I will see what I can do"
UPDATE: After renting from DPM for about a year now, I still recommend them. They have great communication and are very easy to get along with.
I feel very sorry for the owner.
I wish I could post the pictures of the house when first moved and the recording saying that they will do nothing about the hitter.
Today, I called asking for someone to fix the house hitter. It gets too hot upstairs and no hit downstairs.
They called later and left message: "the tech will go to your hours after he sees the dozens of people he has in the list. He's busy this time year"
Durango Property Management has been phenomenal; as issues have arisen, they promptly addressed them and were very helpful to arrange service calls as needed.
They have been awesome!! Every time something has gone wrong in our apartment they have had someone out to fix it in 24 hours or less! Super nice and friendly staff! Cant go wrong with these guys!
Really? My power bill will be huge.
