Our vacation was scuttled by this health issue, but the level of care I received at Mercy was a bright point. Our heartfelt thanks to all the folks at Mercy. I can't commend it highly enough.
This is the second time in 2 days we have come in to this e.r. And the first time we waited over 9 hours and almost bleeding out for a simple surgery on an OPEN WOND and then after the surgery they did not give an rx. For pain management. Pain got got of control and had to return to this horrible e.r. And over an hour no one came in to help. DON'T GO TO MERCY UNDER STAFFING RUDE AND DON'T CARE ABOUT GOOD HONEST PEOPLE. JUST STAY AWAY!!!!!!! THERE ARE MANY OTHER BETTER URGENT CARE PROVIDERS THAT ARE MUCH FASTER AND BETTER
The only difficulty we had was with Billing, which seemed to strike the unlikely pose of not knowing what to do with out-of-network insurance instances — which, in a tourist town, they surely enounter many times every day. My wife had issues coordinating with them; we'll see how the follow-through goes. But as to the medical side, care was exemplary.
Well I can't say I had a wonderful time whole in the ER for obvious reasons but I can say that I didn't have to wait, the triage nurse was kind and attentive, and the nurses and doctors where all very nice and did there best to make me comfortable and get me better.
I was admitted via the ER for a night of tests, observation, and treatment for heart issues exacerbated by elevation. From the very start to the very finish, every aspect of the extensive care I received was superlative. This includes the ER security guard, nurses, technicians, doctors, and chaplain. Their level of professionalism and care was exemplary.
I would give Mercy six stars if I could.
I wish I could give them 10 stars. My husband was diagnosed with testicular cancer and they had him in with the urologist and under the knife within 4 days to remove the cancer. I can't thank this hospital enough.
The staff here helped save my life after I was struck from behind by a truck while walking! They all gave me hope and strength and were all very understanding and compassionate! I can honestly say without their help I wouldn't be walking and at home recovering with my kids!!! Amazing staff!!! Thank you all who helped!
I hope you never need there service but if you do relax and know your in good hands.
