Great car wash, stay in your car and just pay, pull up onto the dolly conveyor n let it pull you through.
Durango Rapid Wash is hit or miss, all depending on the attendant. Most of the attendants scrub your front windshield, grill & rear bumper with a soapy brush before you enter the wash. This makes all the difference in whether the dead bugs get removed. Today I went out of my way to go there & the attendant did no scrubbing, just sprayed the windshield. After $14, I still have dead bugs all over my windshield & grill. This same attendant did the same thing last time I went there. If the attendant does the pre-scrub, this is the best car wash in town. If this same attendant continues his ways, however, it is no better than the $6 car washes all around town.
What a ripoff! Do NOT use this car wash! We paid $10 for the wash and started to pull into the wash bay, but the automated voice told us to wait because someone was already in there. Well, there wasn't any car in the wash bay. After waiting quite a while, we finally decided to pull into the wash bay to see what would happen. Nothing! We finally had to move over to another wash bay and pay AGAIN for getting our car washed. We were visiting Durango for vacation and was an unhappy customer!
Convenient location. Love personal help with fried bugs on my windshield and problem spots on fenders. Friendly attendant too. Favorite wash in Durango.
