Mutu's is one of our favorite restaurants. Northern Italian or Southern they do both well. Excellent service. We've never had anything on the menu that wasn't great and well presented. Now, if they'd do something about the ugly brown vinyl table clothes. Maybe put a sheet of butcher paper across to spice it up.
I feel the need to brag on this establishment on the meal i received this evening. I own a restaurant, and often don't buy into such things, but Mutu's excelled in every aspect of our meal and a rousing review is appropriate. We arrived with our party of six to a well filled house. Nevertheless, we were seated promptly, our server (Kelly or Kate, can't quite remember) was very nice and professional. She offered detailed explanations of the specials, one of which I chose. I had a dish of grilled pork loin, with cheese tortellini topped with julienned vegetables and spinach, with a few peas hiding in there as well. The pork was moistened with what I believe was some kind of red wine sauce, with blackened onions on the top. My meal was exemplary! I try to leave good reviews when things are good, but this meal was worthy of further detail. The pork was cooked to perfection, the veggies were done just right, the pasta was fantastic, and the entire meal was simply better than a five star review can cover. Our entire party agreed that this was one of the best meals we have had. Well done staff. This is one to brag about!
We went there for my birthday for an early dinner. We found immediate seating. Our server was friendly and helpful with navigating the menu. The food was delicious. I ordered the Beef medallions and it was cooked to how I requested it. The free piece of cheesecake was a great birthday treat! I would definitely go again.
Always a great place for excellent food. Go for Happy hour specials in the bar area or have dinner. We mostly get the dinner specials as they have always been fantastic! Highly recommend Mutu's!
he service was excellent! We never wanted for anything; they were very on top of everything. The food was amazing! They have this delicious tomato basil butter that they serve with their fresh baked bread. We got stuffed mushrooms for our appetizer; in our opinion, they had too much sauce, and not enough filling, but that is just personal preference. I also had the chicken skewer appetizer as my entree, along with a salad. Husband had eggplant parmesan, and said it was delicious. Highly recommend!
